SHALOTTE, NC – The Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce and Rourk Woods are proud to announce the 1st Annual Brunswick Stew Cook-off to be held January 31st 11:00am-4:00pm at Rourk Woods in Shallotte, North Carolina. This first time event is perfect for the entire family and will feature Brunswick stew tastings, a kid’s area, a beer garden, live music by Jaded Mayberry, local vendors and much more!

Trophies awarded for Best Chevelle, Best Camaro, Best Corvette, Best Mustang, Best Dodge, Best Truck, Best Pre-19515, Best Import, Best Chevy, Best Ford, Best Mopar, Best GM (other than Chevy), Best Streetrod, Best Plymouth and Best of Show. The first 50 cars to register will receive special dash plaques. Registration is from 9:00am-1:00pm with awards at 3:00pm. There will be door prizes, 50/50 drawings, food and drinks. Vendors will be on-site.Sponsored by the Calabash Merchants Association and Calabash NAPA Auto Parts.

Holden Beach RV Rates:

Monthly: $300.00 to $390.00 + Electric (Billed at current electric company rate) Site rates vary based on the size and location of the site. In addition some sites have wireless internet access.

Overnight Rates: $25 to $35 per night. Very limited availability. Email us with requested arrival date or call us at: (910) 842-1809 

Yearly Rates: If you want to guarantee a site for every summer we suggest an annual rate. Our annual rates vary, but are usually discounted from the monthly rate. Please email or call for more info.

Find small secluded island beaches that can only be reached by boat and enjoy feeling like you are on a beach that belongs to no one else but you.
